Thank you for selecting Tiletech Solutions Mosaics! By adhering to the guidelines below, these tiles will offer you many years of service and enjoyment:

Mosaics must be installed in accordance with British Standards

  • Always hire a licensed and qualified installer with experience in installing pool tiles.

  • Make sure the pool has allowed enough time for concrete shrinkage before tile installation, as specified in British Standards.

  • The installer should adhere to the adhesive/grout manufacturer's guidelines regarding the suitability and application processes of their products. Consider the effects of weather conditions, temperature, humidity, and substrate on the tiling system's performance.

  • The installer must ensure that all joints between tiles are clear of excess adhesive, spacers, and debris before applying grout. Grout should be applied to a level not lower than the bottom of the cushion edge of the tile faces. Take care during the grouting process to avoid raking out grout joints when cleaning excess grout from the tiled surface.

  • Mosaics should be stored flat on a firm, dry, and level surface, never stacked more than seven boxes high. Keep mosaics away from dusty environments and chemical contamination.

  • Check the pool's water balance weekly, as poorly balanced water can damage the grout and adhesive.

  • Ensure that chemicals and treatments added to the pool water are dispersed randomly to prevent damage to the tiles, grout, and adhesive.

Report any visible physical defects to the manufacturer before installation. Failure to do so will be considered acceptance of the product, and all claims will be dismissed.

Not adhering to these standards may result in a failure of the tiling system.
